Toes , in Microsoft blocks Windows 11 workaround that enabled local accounts

This reminds me of how you used to be able to use the username NONE in Windows XP to automatically become the administrator account.

It's a real shame that they are fighting their users so passionately.

"...paired with next-gen AI experiences that will result in new Windows devices that are always aware of what you’re doing..."

Artificial intelligence (AI) integration in Windows offers several benefits. It can enhance user experience by providing personalized recommendations, improving search functionalities, optimizing system performance, and enhancing security measures. AI-powered features can streamline tasks, such as organizing files, managing notifications, and even predicting user behavior to preemptively address issues or offer assistance. Overall, AI in Windows contributes to a more efficient, intuitive, and secure computing environment.

Oh boy I’m so excited for yet another way to be spied upon by a company preying upon my personal data. Please Microsoft, continue to unveil features with the vague appearance of being useful which in reality only serve to make an incredibly wealthy company even more wealthy. Corporate gluttony is ruining everything.

Kyrgizion , in Upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11?

There are VERY few usecases that warrant upgrading from W10 to W11 at this particular point in time. Unless there is some feature that is not available on W10 which is also worth it (honestly can't think of a single one) I'd just wait until at the very least end of life support for W10 ends.
