My sister and I are with my Mom and Dad for a long weekend. My Mom is going through the end-of-life transition with #Alzheimer's. She isn't eating, but she's managing to be busy with the help of nurses and family. We even helped her walk a little bit outside today. Dad has a hospital bed for her, and she is on meds to help her feel more comfortable. Nurses are here 24/7. Her awareness is pretty sharp even if she can't always communicate. We leave on Monday. 💔

Good to hear that you are able to do all you can, to make your mother feel safe and as comfortable as possible and to support your dad as much as you can. She is in good hands, things can happen as they do. Take care of yourself and of each other...
