Judge Juan M. Merchan said that idea was “not tenable.”

Judge Merchan also notes in his ruling that the Manhattan DA's Office did not pressure Allen Weisselberg into his guilty plea for perjury and that Trump's "accusations are entirely unsupported. In fact, defense counsel clearly ignores the words contained in the official transcript."

It might seem that had he not been splattering legal motions in the futile hope of stopping the trial, he may have not had so much “toxic” media coverage in the last few weeks/months?

Trump will do his best to ensure the publicity ramps up, if anything.

Trump has at every opportunity tried to turn this into a Trial By Media, and not in favour of justice -- all but demanding his slavering MAGAites levy death threats against the friends and family -- and pets, you need their little dogs too -- of anyone who might deign to stand for sanity.
He's just whining now because it turns out not a lot of people are happy about that.
