A question for anyone selling 3d-printed objects on a small scale: What e-commerce software/platform are you using? Would you recommend it?
I would like to offer a small selection of 3d-printed items for sale but the monthly cost of a lot of the popular e-commerce platforms is offputting. $40/mo for something that I may make a single $5 sale on during that time just isn't worth it, you know?
@astrovore I set up my own Wordpress site (https://zip-tokens.com). I actually got really irritated at Etsy because at one point they were taking 20-30% of my gross income in various different fees, but I got over it and just increased the price accordingly for the products on Etsy.
Wordpress+Woocommerce takes some time to set up but it's super flexible and the hosting is super cheap.
