I'm fairly hopeful that SCOTUS will not even accept the immunity bid for an appeal.
One great person to read on these issues is @Teri_Kanefield. She is an author and former appeals defense attorney. Teri has a similar view of doomposting (even by more liberal media like MSNBC). She also has a cute dog JJ who deserves more treats (JJ did not pay me for THIS mention #TeamJJ ).
