Watched the third Guardians of the Galaxy film this evening, which was mostly entertaining. A bit long, a bit trivial, and lacking… something… but that seems to be where we are with superhero movies at the moment. A proper Howard the Duck flick would sort things out, but that'll never happen. I'll settle for a film with less stuff on the screen at any one time.
The ending announced that Star-Lord will return, which is a pity as he's easily the least interesting character and actor in the whole thing.
@BigJackBrass I was going to say that Deadpool might be a fair stand-in for Howard the Duck in that they both have pointed opinions on the universe they're standing in, but I do not suspect that the new Deadpool film will deliver "less stuff on the screen." Quite the opposite I imagine. 😆
I just want more seasons of Ms Marvel and She-Hulk but I'm not sure either are likely.
