@GottaLaff I started my performing career watching my sister's shows (six years my senior) Watching as an entranced audience member is my fondest memory!!
@GottaLaff My mom even got us all front row tickets for my 9th birthday for Madame Butterfly. OMG brings tears to my eyes even now. And tap dancing....jezus there's so much joy on a stage or at a microphone
@GottaLaff omgomgomg I would have died lolol!!! I celebrated my birthday in Palm Springs one year with just my mom and me. It was extra special. Then she took me to a dinner show with RAY BOLGER and omg she told the the restaurant that I was a child and it was my birthday. Yup, he did that. Took me up on his knee on stage and sang "Once in Love with Amy" only yeah, replaced Amy with my actual name.
We are SO LUCKY that our parents (and guardian in my case) gave us these incredible experiences?
@GottaLaff When I remember my own memories of live performance including for me lots of singing and dancing, it is the joy that I always remember. I LOVED rehearsal.
