Approaching the rose blossom: Here they use their long proboscis to suck the sweet nectar into their honeycomb, which is completely filled after about 200 blossoms. At the same time, they use their bodies to remove pollen from the flower's stamens, powder themselves with it and push it into the pollen baskets on their hind legs.
