@jerry I love quote posts. I see the issues with them but I find them useful to talk about something with context without distracting from the initial post
@jerry And yet, the world did not end, and the fediverse did not turn into a hellsite. Apparently, quote posts are not the evil that so many feared they were. Perhaps they were just used by evil people on the evil Twitter.
@jerry As someone who mostly uses Bluesky these days I never realized how much I used quote posts in the before times :twitter:. Mastodon desperately needs them
@ducky We have them, but only if you’re using a mobile app. I think just about everything except for the mastodon web interface and the official mastodon app has quote posts.
