@jerry Plain and simple: Move 380kV right from a long-range electrical connection straight through your machine, and you won't have any issues with your data being encrypted.

Also, you get to test your backup strategy.

@bytebro @zixxorb while I can say Windows is a popular target for ransomware, I see most of it hitting non-windows systems. That might just be a result of what I have visibility to, but I can assure you Linux is far from safe.
