Wow... Repulicans think FBI agents and cops shouldn't be armed. I mean that's the only way they wouldn't be moaning and crying about the FBI showing up being an "assassination attempt on Trump" ... if agents were simply not armed.
@futurebird Well, cops aren't armed in the UK, and don't want to be.
To be precise, there are armed police at strategic locations (airports, Parliament, &c), and other officers are sometimes issued firearms for specific operations, but the everyday cop on the beat does not carry a firearm and most police officers will go through their entire career without.
