18 May 1938 | A Dutch Jewish girl, Clara Sophie Bloch, was born in Amsterdam.
She arrived at Auschwitz on 22 July 1942 in a transport of 931 Jews deported from Westerbork. She was among 155 people murdered in a gas chamber after selection.

Father Leo Bloch was a lawyer at the palace of justice in Amsterdam, His name is on a plaque. He was killed by Med. experiments, August 20, 1942. His death was diagnosed by Dr.Meyer.
