The Nazis killed so many simply in their way along with their hated targets, Jews, Poles and communists.

17 million died in the Nazi death camps: 8 million Soviets, 6 million Jews, 1.8 million Poles, 300k Serbs, then gypsies and political enemies.

  • the debate over this wiki page title is telling. In the end though I’d argue the nature of the Holocaust is the murder project for any purpose, hate or territory. The Nazis desired to destroy Poland.
