The former South Carolina governor is the latest in a long line of women — historically some of Republican Donald Trump’s most stubborn challengers — for whom the former president saves a special playbook. It’s centered around intimidation, combined with a now-familiar brand of vulgarity, nicknames and other insults he deploys for men, too.

But where he tries to emasculate his male opponents, Trump works in put-downs about the appearance of women, their emotional balance and their intelligence. He mispronounces their names. He seemed to confuse two politicians who are women. And he questions their right to challenge him.

Trump’s nickname for Haley, a Republican who served as his own ambassador to the United Nations, is “Birdbrain.”

It still shocks me that nobody has just dug in on it by now. The guy is obese, smelly, wears lots of makeup and has a comb over, just to start the list.

I just want to see what happens if one of his very public targets were to actually stoop to his level.

That could be very entertaining, depending on the execution. I can see pointing out all of Trump's obvious flaws in a mocking tone followed by an air of dismissal of any legitimacy of him even being a person worth paying attention to would grab some attention, both positive and negative, obviously.

Orange is a fairly common synonym for him. You may also recall people talking about his hands.

Though tbf, dems mostly prefer to talk about policy, since policies are what politicians actually work with. Like, when talking about an athlete, you can focus on how they "seem", or you can talk about the actual techniques and skills they are the best at.

I'd love it if a candidate hit him back with some unflattering nicknames that take a dig at his looks. It would completely unbalance him and turn him into a raving lunatic, more so.

Call him "Fat don" or "the most obese candidate since Taft"

One of them pointed out that he smells in a couple interviews and Mango Mussolini absolutely FUMED until his underlings managed to steer the narrative elsewhere.
