This is the problem with Zionism. It claims to be Jewish when it's not, but then Jews have to bear the brunt of reaction. @TorahJudaism on X explains this clearly.
The solution is to eliminate Zionism from the world. Jews were living happily and peacefully in Palestine until Herzl & company got started, and the rest, as they say, is History.
I’ll offer this advice: don’t claim to be neutral and then say you’ll “support who you want”.
It was a smart arse response expected of an 18 year old, and the assailant was unhinged. Perhaps he recently lost family to Israel, who knows.

@atomicbirdseed@alizasystem@israel@palestine agreed. Netanyahu is doing his utmost to conflate Judaism with the state of Israel, and describes any criticism of the state of Israel as anti-semitism.
The flip side of that is that people associate his actions with ordinary Jews, so anything Jews and non-Jews can do to distance his actions from Judaism will help.
