The only advantage Panther would have would be if he used some Wakandan martial art that Batman had never seen before and couldn't prep for.

There was a good bit in JLA / Avengers where Batman squared off with Cap. They quickly figured out that any extended fight would take hours and the outcome would be uncertain.

I'd put them on even footing in the real world, based on training. You take them out of their suits, get rid of their powers (and Batman does have them, they just aren't obvious and declared), and they're both guys that could demolish pro fighters.

If the fight was in the DC universe, Batman wins after a prolonged fight. In the Marvel universe, Panther wins after a prolonged fight. The reason for that is the advantage their tech gives them isn't the same in the other universe.

Batman's used to fighting foes with peak human to low grade superhuman physical abilities, so Panther isn't as advantaged in that way as it would seem.

Overall, T'challa could do the same for Bruce that he did for Matt Murdock and stand in as a temporary placeholder.

That's all a little jumbled because I'm tired, but I think it can be summed up as them being equals in the ways that matter, so environment matters more.

Well, Black Panther is strong and fast, and has claws. But Batman fights strong, fast guys and goons armed with knives all the time. I'd say they're even - unless Batman has a chance to study his opponent. In which case he'll probably use Panther's enhanced sense against him. So could Batman beat a blinded, deafened Black Panther reeling from stink bombs? I think so.

Haven't watched but the conventional wisdom is that with prep time, Batman could kill God, so I wouldn't be too worried about Black Panther.
