yata , to NonCredibleDefense in Why are they like this

That is only very selectively true though, considering that the party responsible for starting those wars is the one playing pacifist now. And if there is one thing we know about GOP it is that they are definitely not pacifist

It is just a very poor excuse by disingenous liars.

yata , to White People Twitter in Trump popularity.

Indeed. "Grab them by the pussy" and his mocking of a disabled person all made it very clear. Anyone still on board with him after that was a certified asshole.

yata , to White People Twitter in Trump popularity.

All of his supporters in 2016 were also bad people. They saw the "grab them by the pussy" tape, they saw him make fun of a disabled person, and thought he was still a worthy candidate for their vote.

yata , to United Kingdom in Why did we give up on insulation?

Not really true. UK definitely has a history of under-insulation compared to other European countries with similar climates (like Denmark for example).

yata , to Greentext in Anon enjoys seasonal content

Devs are like that because publishers says they should do it. And publishers are like that because people keep buying and paying for all that shit. So in the end they are like that because of OP who contributes to the FOMO and wants to throw money at them for cosmetics.

yata , to News in A new report sheds light on how advertising is going at Elon Musk's X — and the numbers aren't good

Russia doesn't pay people for that sort of thing, especially not a person like Musk. Instead they extort. Possibly over rare materials.

Anyway I don't think Russia was part of Musks takeover of twitter, that stemmed from Musks own arrogant stupidity, but they certainly did become one afterwards.

yata , to Greentext in Anon starts a journal

No, it is obviously where you record your progress in your quest for turning lead into gold.

yata , to Hacker News in Google confirms they will disable uBlock Origin in Chrome in 2024

And even if you did, would they matter?

yata , to Tankiejerk in The Lemmy Developers are now personally blocking and banning users and communities critical of Tankies and the Developers.

I don't think you quite understand. These are the actual developers of the software that is lemmy. They reside in lemmy.ml, but we are not talking about them just being "developers" of lemmy.ml, they are developers of the entire federation software that is lemmy.

So OP isn't conflating anything.

yata , to MeanwhileOnGrad in A reminder that Lemmy Developer, Dessaline, is a genocide denialist.

That is what the genocide denier wants you to think. It obviously isn't a semantics argument though.

yata , to Tankiejerk in what sniffing glue does to your brain

And same with Poland. The nazis dressed up some convicts in German border guard uniforms, then killed them, took photographs of their corpses and used as one of their excuses to attack (they also blamed Poland for murdering German ethnicities in Poland of course).

yata , to sh.itjust.works Main Community in Suddenly seeing more hexbear posts. Did we re-federate with them?

Don't you think their behaviour in this very thread is very clear evidence that your beliefs that they are a "positive for this society" is completely unfounded?

yata , to Tankiejerk in Hexbearian jerking themselves off about how valuable they are to the rest of the fediverse, suggests "performing a coup"

...by dunking on their user bases

They don't really bother to hide the fact that their primary reason for existing is trollng and brigading, do they?

Edit: Here is proof that "dunking" is their term for organised brigading, where a hexbear member is posting a comment in another instance on hexbear "if you wanna dunk".

yata , to The Agora in [Vote] Should we defederate hexbear?

Don’t worry we’re in the process of defederating from you.

The only good thing I have ever heard coming from hexbear.

yata , to The Agora in [Vote] Should we defederate hexbear?

Aye.
