Today we celebrate the Day of the Crimean Tatar National Flag.

The Tarak-Tamga is the ancestral emblem of Giray dynasty, rulers of the Crimean Khanate, and a symbol of Crimean Tatar people, while the blue color among Turkic peoples has long been considered a color of purity, freedom, and loyalty.

Martin Harris has been serving as British Ambassador to Ukraine since 2023. He is a big friend of Ukraine and Crimean Tatar people.

Martin visited Crimea ~20 years ago and dreams of returning there after deoccupation. It was a pleasure to listen to him speaking Ukrainian language and sharing his memories and hopes.

Today I participated at literary readings organised by Crimean Fig / Qırım inciri Ukrainian-Crimean Tatar literary project on a Land of Dreams (Kraina mriy) ethnofestival

I can't express how happy I am to be here and to be able to read Crimean Tatar poetry 💙💛 A year ago, I couldn't have imagined that I would be reading poetry in the Crimean Tatar language, as I hadn't known it, despite it being the native language of my family

I am reading a poem "Bu ne qadar ağır, accı, accı ağrı" by Asan Akhtem. He is an activist, journalist for the Crimean Tatar newspaper and a political prisoner. russia sentenced him to 13 years on politically fabricated charges.

I urge you to speak out about Crimean political prisoners — since the beginning of the occupation of Crimea, there are 318 people who were persecuted under criminal cases, 216 of them are Crimean Tatars

Do not be silent while russia commits crimes against my people!

до повномасшабки багато уваги приділяла еко-активізму. зараз зосереджуюсь на темі Криму, вчу мову, будую свою ідентичність.

люблю виступати та увагу) дякую небесам за психотерапію, долучаюсь до зборів, займаюсь бігом та трошки йогою. люблю цікаві коктейлі та сауери в контейнері
