I got a $5 soil moisture sensor (looks like a big thermometer) and it has been really great for this exact purpose. I know lazy people don't want another step to a chore, but for those who don't know when to water, it's great

My libs (white, wealthy, bay area) said they wish they didn't have to vote for him. They remarked they wish Peter Mayonnaise was in the driver's seat, but they "know they need to fall in line" to defeat the greater evil.
