So let me get this straight: The so-called "originalists" on the Supreme Court have essentially given the U.S. president the power of monarchs. Just days before the 4th of July, mind you. The hypocrisy is staggering.

@rbreich originalists when it fits their predetermined narrative, revisionists when it doesn’t. Staggering hypocrisy to say the least. Perverse, oligarchical political corruption at the highest levels to say the most.

My big conspiracy is that most the "legitimate" media honestly doesn't think it wants Trump to win. They just think it's their job to keep it close. Like they have to replicate the electoral college in their coverage.

@lolgop project 2025. If Trump wins, he will eliminate all media outlets that do not sycophantically pander to his every need. They are placating him now so he might spare them later. It’s as simple as that.

Put simply, the Court allowed Trump to stay on the ballot in order to avoid an outcome that would raise the “national temperature.” My objection is that Judges should not bend to the will of an insurrectionist simply to placate his supporters.

@marcelias they just gave the insurrectionists a green light to riot when Trump loses again. How is that reducing the national temperature exactly?
