@GottaLaff To coin a phrase: "clearly" - we can not presume it means what we think it means.

SCOTUS is using a word that presumes precision but there is no actual direction on that at all.

People, no. No bail. He’s not jailed.

No bail was even requested.

@GottaLaff It isn't like he can 'hide' somewhere. As the presumptive nominee, as well as an ex-, he's got the Secret Service with him at all times.

Trump’s media company lost $58 million in 2023.

Despite that, Wall Street has valued it by as much as $11 billion based on its stock price.

A desperate Donald Trump got a lifeline when the floundering company went public.

What kind of leverage will that grant investors? Hello?

@rbreich 2 things. these numbers are worse than the worst of the dot-bomb bubbles...and once again, everybody will throw money around "Trump" on the hope they'll get rich off of it.

40 years of it never happening and yet somehow his very name convinces people "this time it'll be different!"

@GottaLaff Garvey's one of those, like my parents, looking fondly back at the Republican Party of the Ike era, and 1) totally not seeing that it doesn't exist anymore, and 2) not even seeing how bad the party was even then (after '56).
