Nuclear doesn't work in Australia because:

1. There's a moratorium on nuclear in this country (ie: it is illegal)
2. No one wants a nuclear power plant in their backyard
3. No one wants nuclear waste in their backyard
4. Nuclear power plants wouldn't generate enough energy to support power needs of the country
5. Nuclear power plants would cost more to run than solar, hydro and wind farms
6. Nuclear power plants take decades to be built
7. Build costs of nuclear power plants cost several times the cost of all other renewable energy farms combined
8. Power costs for consumers would go up and not down with nuclear
9. Even countries that have a history of nuclear power are moving away from it, and towards renewable energy production.

This whole conversation and faux "debate" is fundamentally insane. #insiders
