    @dansup another issue seems to be what might be known as "backfill" of posts on smaller servers. from pixelfed.social, a new user can see posts dating back years, but on exposur.es and others, it looks like pixelfed is a ghost town which makes pitching it nearly impossible. nobody follows someone on a whim—they follow someone because they skim their feed and find it interesting enough to want to see more, right? fixing this would go a long way in making pixelfed more appealing & usable.

    according to the GitHub issue (https://github.com/pixelfed/pixelfed/pull/4968) it was resolved, but i still don't have the option to migrate away from pixelfed.social in my profile settings.

    ppl on instagram are just finding out about google's project nimbus with israel's iof and there're rallies called for the google campus' in nyc, seattle, and the bay area.

    rallies & protests are important, but i'm high-key hoping ppl connect the neurons that direct action can be as simple as abandoning google products together.

    @MikeDunnAuthor @BigTittyBimbo ya i mean i wonder if that suggests there aren't established cells of freedom fighters that maybe just aren't publishing communiques to western leftist outlets or that we need to be saviors (like the case with TQILA).

    that's not to say we shouldn't send fighters to hit the front lines, but we're talking about a firepower that's got the full support of the US Fed here, so idk if symmetrical warfare is the move slash a possibility like it is for the Kurds, right?
