I realized today that there is a certain security archetype that I don't get along with well. It's what I'm starting to call the "Security Bully". This is the person that knows better than everyone else and it going to secure you, whether you like it or not. It really stinks when it's your new CISO and all the people he's just hired.

In related news, I've updated my resume and am getting serious about finding a new home.

    My problem child, fedia.io, is down. The server keeps crashing and I’m not clear why. I think that the model server I’m using for it has some sort of defect since it’s the 3rd time it’s happened with different instances of the same server (their AX-162R) with no explanation on why (nothing logged, nothing unusual happening).

    I will fix it in the morning. My apologies.

    well kids, I am back - I debated it for some time - and it looks like I'm starting over from scratch - something that I have become quite good at over the years

    Happy 420 to those who celebrate - I no longer do as I have been 100% sober for 90 days now
