Exactly this. And the Victorinox blade is a lot smaller and sometimes a bigger blade is helpful.

As for the same pocket as my phone thing: It has a clip so I clip it to the side of my pocket and my phone isn't close to it, my pockets are big. The knife winds up on the right side and the phone on the left. There's a good 5cm of space between them

Where do you carry your stuff?

I used to just put my stuff into the little pockets in my bag, but have since switched to sort of a pouch which was designed for a phone, but fits everything I need. But where do you put your stuff if you don’t have a bag to put the pouch in? I envy woman for being able to walk around with a bag the size of a phone without...

Most of it in my front left pocket. Other things like phone and earphones in my front right pocket. Everything else (laptop, eReader, cables, power banks, chargers, cameras, batteries and a lot more) in my backpack.
