So I finished the newest Fallout 76 Season yesterday. Well...I got to level 100. Technically I can still get to 150, which makes me a little sad because that means I can no longer use XP gain to gain SCORE.😬🤷‍♂️

I do wish the cremator wasn't this "grenade launcher" type thing we got and would just be a more powerful/unique flamer. But I guess we got one of those already. I just feel it's too weak...🤦‍♂️

RIGHT when I decide I want to get some ESO in, the servers decide to die....🤦‍♂️ Guess it's back to Fallout for now.🤷‍♂️

If only Bethesda would listen to my pleas and turn on Fediverse sharing on Threads, I might have found this out sooner.....but they have ignored me so far unfortunately.

@BeAware yeah I finished my 76 weeklies before the reset tomorrow and then was gonna get my daily event tickets and writs from ESO but servers down. When I checked the maintenance schedule yesterday and saw “no scheduled maintenance this week” I said “yeah right”

So, today I'm pretty free and have 2 choices of games to play.

1 of them I've been playing pretty regularly. Fallout 76. There's a new season out and an event going on right now that's pretty cool.

The other is ESO. I downloaded it again the other day. I have some anxiety about getting back into it cause I haven't played in months and I have that ADHD thing that gives me anxiety about restarting things I previously abandoned....😬though ESO also has an event going on right now that seems cool.

Help. Do I try to get over the anxiety and jump on ESO? Or fall back to the "safe" game of Fallout 76 and do that? CHOICES!!!😩

@BeAware @blackknight95857669 Funny, I just hopped back into ESO yesterday. It's been easy to get back into my questing routine. The event isn't complicated either, get the cake from the backer and eat a slice once a day for tickets.
Well crap that reminds me I haven't spent my tickets....

@BeAware oh yeah I don't do any of that trading guild requirements stress. I'm in one relaxed non trading guild that doesn't care. I do wish they had a market you could use like FFXIV does. Don't need a guild or anything, just go to the market board in that game to sell or buy.

I finally managed to launch my first nuke in Fallout 76!

It only took like 2 hours of dying and confusion because there's no clear instructions....but it was successful nonetheless!😬😅

Running out of things to do now🤣might wait until the new season drops to continue my expedition grind because apparently a new Atlantic City expedition is releasing alongside the new season...

Also, does anyone know if the daily stamps for the first expedition applies to each expedition individually or if it's for all expeditions overall? Basically if I do all 4 expeditions in 1 day, will I get 20x4 stamps?🤔

@BeAware @gaming Congrats on the nuke launch! I don't remember the math on stamps and it keeps changing, but I think you usually get a bonus amount the first time each day.

Time to hop on some more Fallout 76! I have 11 more expeditions to do until I can get my Union Power Armor Jet Packk mod....😬 I hate those damn things so I've only been doing 1-2 a day for a few days.

Sitting at 100 stamps and it costs 300...😫

Okay, Fallout has convinced me that Violet Flux isn't in the game....I've been through like 10 Nuke zones today and haven't found a single one yet....😩🤦‍♂️

I think this is a waste of time...

So I got to level 35 in Fallout 76. Just THAT much closer to 50. Maybe I should start thinking about a build for big guns and power armor because I've been using a Gatling energy gun with my PA lately.

It's quite nice to be able to absolutely rip through even the biggest of enemies with ease. I hope it continues🤣

Also got myself an ammo converter and fusion core refiller from the shop.

Though I am a bit confused on how I'm supposed to route my power from outside the house to inside. Am I supposed to just leave my house without a door? That doesn't seem very feasible so if anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate it! As of right now I have the fusion core refiller outside and am worried that someone can just come along and take my cores...😬

@BeAware Your cores are fine, they work like stash slots. Other people don't see them.

For power, you can actually just put a connector close or on your house outside and anything within range inside the house (that doesn't need a direct wire) will work (most lights etc)

So I DID manage to get to level 30 yesterday in Fallout in just about an hour from level 28. All thanks to the kind people at the Fasnacht Day event and their ABUNDANCE of lunchboxes and scout's call flags!

Though, I feel I'm a bit "behind" on the quests because I did the same quests a lot earlier on my custom world. I hope that doesn't effect things too much because I really do enjoy the events, they give me that dopamine hit with rewards that the quests just don't compare to.🤷‍♂️

Either way, I'm loving it so far.

Also, I found out there's a glitch that's been in the game for a long time. The glitch allows you to place your Power Armor across the radiation threshold of a nuke blast radius and when you get in it, you suffer no radiation!

This helped me peruse a blast zone yesterday with little risk. But I still can't find any violet flux for my jet pack mods😩

Might hop on again later today when I'm in a better mood. Bad mood makes me rude.🤦‍♂️

@BeAware For future reference as a heads up, make sure the jetpack skin you craft at is exactly what you want. Unless they changed it recently, you can't reskin jetpacks. You have to craft entirely new ones for whatever skin.

Some camp vendors will sell violet flux for caps, so worth shopping around. I think it counts as "junk" when you're trying to find on the map what camps might have some.

I actually made it TWICE as far, level wise, than my goal yesterday in Fallout 76!

I wanted to get to level 25 from level 22, but I actually made it to level 27 thanks to the awesome community popping open lunchboxes during the event! I had 100% XP bonus for about 2 whole hours!

Also dug about 125 treasures in hopes of getting some Power Armor plans. No luck so far unfortunately, but I have PLENTY leftover plans to sell and will only get more as time goes on, thanks to the generous Treasure Map donation from @thechrisd! Thanks again, friend!

I do have a question though for anyone willing to answer.

I own one of those big mansion prefabs and use that as one of my CAMPs and put the new vault doors on it and locked them with level 3. However, yesterday after one of the events, I came home to someone running through the building and I noticed he had a "Wanted: 5 Caps" above his head. I assume that means he was able to steal something.

I thought everything was player owned and I don't have much you can just "grab" except for corn and blueberries. Could it be that he was simply hungry and I'm freaking out for nothing? Or can he steal from my ammo box and stuff?😬😩 I'm so confused!

@BeAware @neenish_tart yeah, and there's a legendary perk card you can rank up and instantly unlock any doors. Several times those people accidentally interact with a locked camp item, it unlocks, and then they end up wanted.

About to hop back in Fallout 76 and attempt to do dailies and mess around for a bit.

Made it to level 17 last night. Making really good progress so far I think. I really want the T-45 armor plans but idk if I get that through quests or ???🤷‍♂️ I have been unable to find anyone selling them yet so I can only assume that's the case.

The reason I haven't started using Peertube more is because of the sheer lack of certain gaming content.

For example, searching Elder Scrolls Online or Fallout 76 (my most recent games) on SepiaSearch gets very few actual gameplay videos.🤷‍♂️

@BeAware Yeah peertube, especially in regard to gaming is just too fragmented and sparse. It makes me sad.

But I fear if someone were to open a big instance up like but focused on gaming, it just wouldn't be financially feasible to keep it alive. Hoards of people posting all their gaming content - which has a lot of quantity over quality (myself included lol)

Is there a particular Peertube instance gaining ground for this?

    @BeAware Really? What does it say? Several times with the daily "kill this many whatevers" for example everyone would already have them killed on public so I'd hop on private to do it and still got credit.
