I really wish there was a single player game that feels and plays like an MMO.
When I say that, I don't mean I want to control more than one character. I mean I want to control 1 character and have a party or NPCs to do big battles with and have many gameplay systems to interact with.
In case you haven't noticed, Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster was released today on #Steam. It was previously released on #NintendoSwitch I haven't played it yet, but I'm looking forward to it the next time I'm ready to see something new. #videogames#pcgaming#jrpg#bandainamco
Played The Alters from #steamnextfest and it’s curious. The game has potential but also some significant lack of focus. The game tries to be 2 things - a very personal and physiological story and a space survival with a base builder. From third person. And while I am hooked with the story, gameplay-wise it’s very rough on the edges, jumping from drama to management. But I will follow up this game for sure!
Briefly looked over games on #steamnextfest and installed a bunch. Damn, this is a great promotional tool! It really adds up to building up the excitement for games. Did you play any demos lately?
Been getting kinda lost in games for the past weekend. That's why I haven't posted as much lately.🤷♂️
Been running a few Fortnite matches every now and then. I get frustrated in those games easily so when I need to clear my head, I've been playing Satisfactory.
Satisfactory is like Minecraft on drugs.🤣 The whole game is about automation and crafting. I like it a lot. Also have been enjoying Fortnite for the most part.
Wow! A Twitch streamer was about to be the highest level player in Maplestory, a MASSIVE feat, considering how long the game has been out.
Maplestory caught wind and proceeded to tweet about it and host his stream on their Twitch channel.
After that, he had about 20-30k viewers wanting to watch Maplestory history being made.
When he was .007% away from hitting level 300, he started ranting about a specific microtransaction item that can't be traded (because it makes maplestory more money) and said that if it wasn't fixed, he'd never login to the game again, then proceeded to shut off the stream. :kek: :kek: :kek:
I've never played Maplestory, but this has earned MASSIVE respect in my eyes. That's just next level trolling and SO good!

So I finished the newest Fallout 76 Season yesterday. Well...I got to level 100. Technically I can still get to 150, which makes me a little sad because that means I can no longer use XP gain to gain SCORE.😬🤷♂️
I do wish the cremator wasn't this "grenade launcher" type thing we got and would just be a more powerful/unique flamer. But I guess we got one of those already. I just feel it's too weak...🤦♂️
About 5-10 years ago there was an "MMO" Scrabble game called WordSquared. It was played by thousands on a (seemingly) endless board of scrabble with leaderboards and such.
Unfortunately, it shut down, I assume due to lack of funding. I always think about it every now and then and wish it was still around.😩
I feel like I have successfully shed my ESO anxiety for the most part and jumped in. Gotta figure out some stuff from where I left off, but I'm ready to get back into this fantastic game!
So, today I'm pretty free and have 2 choices of games to play.
1 of them I've been playing pretty regularly. Fallout 76. There's a new season out and an event going on right now that's pretty cool.
The other is ESO. I downloaded it again the other day. I have some anxiety about getting back into it cause I haven't played in months and I have that ADHD thing that gives me anxiety about restarting things I previously abandoned....😬though ESO also has an event going on right now that seems cool.
Help. Do I try to get over the anxiety and jump on ESO? Or fall back to the "safe" game of Fallout 76 and do that? CHOICES!!!😩
