Sentinel

This is lovely Lómagnúpur, one of the most recognizable mountains in , with drapes of mist hanging around it.
These cloud formations are know as stacked lenticular and are created by strong winds.

In the Icelandic Coat of Arms there are 4 protectors, and one of them is the giant who lives in Lómagnúpur, protecting the coast from all evil.

Right: A kid from a local high school got in touch with me over LinkedIn--they are starting a neuroscience club, and wanted to talk about neuroimaging, and any other advice for the club.

Anyone out there know anything about running a neuroscience club in high school, want to weigh in with advice? Now's the time!

I can tell them about neuroimaging research and academic life etc. but other than that I'm a blank.

What do we want? Open science + transparent peer review!

When do we want it? Now!

Yet, reviewers will hide behind the cloak of anonymity. As an editor, there is little to be done about such behaviour. 😔

They'll still review even if you don't give them the option of anonymity, in my experience. Telling them their name will be attached to their review and listed on the paper if published really improves behavior. 😁
