Microsoft wants to add ads to their Windows operating system. The greed just never ends.

This is the worst idea since Samsung forced ads upon users who had the misfortune of buying their TVs.

This is wrong mainly because we consumers payed for the product, we own it, it is NOT their ad space.

If politicians do not regulate this, we will end up in world where our homes are full of devices shouting at us, "Buy, buy, buy!"

May the wrath of the EU strike them down.

@randahl I'm surprised people are only getting angry about this now. Their console variant of Windows has shown ads for a long time, even when people have been paying for their XBox live gold. I personally found it pretty lame.

@Cloudscout Makes me wonder if it's a Rayovac battery. A lot of those have been discovered from old pinball machines, where everyone was sure the batteries would have caused a massive leak.
