    Did NOT want to have to find out where the nearest animal hospital was, but our dog was attacked tonight by a loose neighborhood dog.

    She's OK, only one cut that needed staples. Probably the equivalent of bruises and bumps.

    Tons of praise for the folks at Galena Square Veterinary Clinic and Platteville Family Pet Hospital, very kind and caring and as well as talking me down from an adrenaline overload while I drove our pup to them.

    At a local bar women’s history month event and a man got up and literally said hey men have it tough too- we also have to deal with things- and I loudly said- like what being tone deaf?

    The Kansas Republican Party hosted a fundraiser last Friday

    During which, attendees could pay to assault an effigy of President Biden

    Remember when simply criticizing Trump or Bush policies would trigger the right—causing them to scream “it’s unamerican to disrespect the president!”

    Guy backs into me in a parking lot exit despite me honking at him to stop and then drives off despite me honking and following him for blocks. He eventually stops and admits he could hear me honking and felt the impact but felt there was no damage (there is in fact some small damage) so why bother stopping and then called me crazy that I was upset at him doing a hit and run. I am not having a good day.

    Turns out, surprise surprise, and despite him calling me mentally ill and telling me I was making up damage (there was visible damage) that there was more damage than I initially saw and likely more than my deductible on my car insurance to fix it. 🙃

    @chgowiz yup- they weren’t able to re-establish connection (so far) which usually means a crash. I feel like India’s lander worked so well because it was basically like let’s assume a small crash- how can we ensure it will still work after that.
