I design software for schools, doing research, systems design, illustration, ui and graphic design.

I believe things can and should be better. The economy, internet, politics, are made by humans and in our power to change, they aren’t laws of nature.

We both have iPhones and when we take pictures of the same scene, sometimes mine are more vibrant, and sometimes his are more vibrant. This is his better picture of this scene from the Sol Duc Falls trail.

    ANYWAY try and add a bit of cheer to proceedings. I took this the other day, I have lots of pics of the flowers but I liked how a beam of sunlight got through to these hiding away inside the bush.

    A cluster of camellia flowers inside a large bush and mostly obscured by the leaves of a fan palm. A few beams of sunlight make it through the leaves of the bush to highlight the bright pink flowers surrounded by darkness. The fan palm leaves are bright and green and very out of focus in the foreground.

    Got all excited for a moment that there was some blossom on the cherry tree, but it’s a dove!

    Just one dove, there’s normally two sitting together. I’ll be fretting about that now.
