I'm a #trans ⚧ #lesbian that has been out to myself for (checks watch) 1 year!

I'd like to use this space to be able to talk frankly about what I'm thinking and feeling as a baby trans. This is the place where I get to be out in "public".

I've been on linux full-time now for a few months. I'm running out of things to complain about, but there's one that's still bothering me. I used to love (on macos) doing option-2 (I think) which gave me a nice, cute little (TM) symbol. It was superscript and everything.

On linux, though, the best I can come up with is enabling the
typing booster input modifier and using the ™️emoji which is grey for some reason, and an image, and huge, and not super script! As far as I can tell, there's only codepoint U+2122 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trademark_symbol

Sending a copy of the symbol from a mac yields "™".

If you have a key you don't mind rebinding to "compose" that should work.
