@Wightbred@dice.camp

Interested in tabletop roleplaying, standup paddling, e-bikes, Zombicide and hacking everything. I’m here to share ideas, support creativity and make new friends. We evolved our own toolkit for immersive and emergent roleplaying with the flow of a PbtA conversation, world-focussed moderation and a dash of Fiasco-like trouble mixed in.

    @LeviKornelsen Are you thinking like Archipelago’s “Try a different way / That might not be quite so easy / etc” but with a more defined call and response?
    I’m definitely not repelled by that.

    @LeviKornelsen Woah! That is definitely something to think about. ;)

    @UNY0N @jjjalljs Strongly agree with this. A light framework can be used for very realistic feeling roleplaying.

    Everyone in a position of power who evaluates WWIII as an actual possibility should be fired immediately IMO.
    People like that are working to win the unwinable, not working to prevent it.

    @Ailantd Agree - trying to win the destruction of the world is a ridiculous concept. This is the stupidity of General Turgidson in Dr Strangelove, or the billionaires and their bomb shelters.

    Life tip: If you encounter Daleks or Cybermen tell them you are Doctor Who. They probably don’t know every incarnation, and it might distract them for long enough for you to get away.

    Lots of great ways to roleplay, but made this cheeky meme to joke about our preference on another forum. We like to play focussing on collaboratively exploring emergent characters with a strong emphasis on the very specific world they are it, and use simple and streamlined mechanics to support this.
