That's lovely. You've reminded me, I live near Tilbury Docks which they passed off as Venice for Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Just along the road from there is the Tilbury Fort which was turned into the Tibetan prison for Batman Begins.

Stuffs everywhere!

I remember games being really hard (or I'm just crap) back in the home micro 8bit days. Then I watch play throughs on YouTube and discover if you figured out what to do, the game could be completed in under an hour!

The only one that comes to mind is a film called The 51st State starring Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Carlyle.

There was a group of us at a job many, many years ago performing a survey of Liverpool. One night in the hotel, Channel 4 broadcast the film, which is set in the city. The following morning, two of the guys who had been surveying all the backstreets and alleyways commented that the chase in the film made no sense to them. This was because they could see the cars were jumping to different spots in the city, and it wasn't coherent.

But I guess you could make that comment about a lot of car chases in the movies.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. The worse one, the bottom, is from the trailer.

The phenomenon is now so ubiquitous that flaws are apparent even in trailers for unreleased movies, such as the forthcoming remake of The Crow.

This is a little unfair. It's well known that the marketing department will take and use the best shots as long as it looks good enough.

I found out recently that a poor guy on Speed (1994) had to rush through a CGI shot of the gap in the bridge for the bus jump.

You can see the difference between the trailer and the final film below.

The backstory was shocking and insane and Killian's artwork was amazing, I loved his style. I'll never forget that one scene where the hero tells the doctor to go to hell, and he simply replies something like, “nope, already been there.”

I also remember the brilliant artwork of Dennis Beauvis for Aliens: Book Two, which was the first comic I saw when it was serialised in a magazine here in the UK. Another story of a mad military commander who thinks he has the aliens under control, which he can control like an army.
