I wish 'fact checking' made an impact on American voters.

It's only ever made an impact on Democrat voters because they're the ones who value facts.

Republicans have never valued facts.

They know Trump is a liar. But they love his lies. They love the delusion of men who make their own laws, of sacred babies and dangerous 'others' and Captain America. These fantasies are fundamental to them.

We have to stop being surprised they aren't put off by Trumps lies. It's wasting time and energy.

I can understand if you feel disengaged or disenchanted with politics. But please vote. Vote in memory of the millions of people whose lives were made miserable under these fuckers. Vote in memory of the many elderly people who were discarded like so much garbage during the pandemic. Vote to honour the disabled people who have been demonised as slackers.

Let these fuckers know you won’t tolerate the society of cruelty the created.
