@stevesilberman Whether you agree with the editorial or not (and reasonable minds certainly can disagree on this topic), the way you are framing it knowingly ignores the entire purpose of the editorial.

@bixfrankonis @stevesilberman Trump is never going to drop out. The editorial is obviously written from the democratic perspective that the Dems need to ensure that their candidate will beat Trump.

There would be no point in an editorial suggesting that Trump drop out. Wasted words.

@bixfrankonis @stevesilberman I think a good faith arguments can be made on both sides regarding whether or not Biden should drop out. I just think arguing that the NYT should also be calling for Trump to drop out is neither here nor there.
