@SJohnRoss Spoken like a true gamebook aficionado. I have lot of vintage GBs and I believe it is impossible not to peak sometimes. After my charted gets RIP’d a few times I’m just thinking “I am not re-reading 40 pages of Car Wars: Fuel’s Gold (1972)! 😂

Brings up a design point though. Like using irresistible hooks on a red herring making one path clearly the logical way to go but the other impossible not peak. If they do they spring a trap or get false information to mislead them.
