Power went out, so the toddler is afraid of sleeping in his room. Special situation, so sleeping (and I use that term lightly) in our bed. Kidney and back have taken a severe beating from two little legs. May need to see a doctor. Definitely no sleep. #Parenting

Social media is like a Pavlovian experiment. Depending on which site you’re on, the type of post you send out gives you a better response, which reinforces your behavior. Truth Social reinforces pro-Trump thinking and now I salivate when posting pictures of my old electronics and games on the #fediverse or posting weird shit that pops into my head. I like it here.

Kid is coughing every few seconds over the monitor and wife is coughing every few seconds next to me in bed. Misophonia kicking in big time. Thank Zeus for a guest bedroom. Maybe I’ll get some sleep tonight.
