Going so far as to get a bachelor's degree in Nature, the environment and outdoorlife studies at the University of Sørøst-Norge. Otherwise, I'm rediscovering myself everyday.

I finally did some new painting again, and this time I'm competing in the Monthy Art challenge at !
The theme this month was Magnificent dragon and the challenge was to try and use only 1 brush, but I ended up using 2 instead: the default g) Dry bristles and the default g) Dry Textured Creases.

I made a reference using and did some photobashing on the render afterwards.

The surrounding land is ablaze with fire, but moonlight breaks through the thick smoke, lighting up the face of the dragon and one side of the castle. His wings are being lit up by the moonlight behind. The dragons looks directly to the viewer down below, where a lone knight with a billowing cape stands to confront the beast, while silhouetted against the flames.

    I've had very little time to focus on my art the last months unfortunately (renovation truly is a killer of artistic endeavour). However, whenever I had some minutes I've spend it on this portrait. No speedpainting, just working in my own rhythm. This portrait is based of a photograph of cod-fishermen from , . Taken in 1910 by Anders Beer Wilse. The man depicted is unknown, sadly.
