A big thanks to Roleplaying Exchange for highlighting Mutants in the Now and making some wildly weird characters. Looking forward to seeing what comes "next" from their table-driven journey!

The single greatest comedy moment in OGL history was in one of the Scarred Lands books, where, in actual printed copies, the OGL was prefaced by the note:

"Put this in the smallest type possible; they might be able to force us to put it in, but we don't have to make it readable."

@LeviKornelsen @martinralya AEG was one of the more generous users early on, at least, they had an odd extra bit of license that let you use their IP in a limited and weird way. Like, you could use Reis the pirate, for example, but they couldn't have the same writing or identity, IIRC? It was odd, mainly just usable in case you wanted to use some feat like "Hida's Fortitude" or the like without changing the name.

@LeviKornelsen You need to look up the Munchkin d20 books, which are the biggest middle finger to the OGL, with chapters like "This chapter is closed content except for words beginning with the letter P." or "This entire chapter is open content, except for the words 'dice', 'Munchkin, and 'the'." I'm not sure how contractually defensible it was, but it sure was a pisstake.
