The average of all polls on the day before Trump's conviction had Trump in the lead by 1.2 percentage points.

Then he was found guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records, and it has been all over the news for more than two weeks.

The result? Trump is in the lead by 1.1 percentage points.

Something is seriously wrong in the US.

Yes, there has always been something wrong.
America has never achieved what it aspires to, but then who has?
From time to time there are glimpses of a better place,
but then it regresses to the mean.
Pun intended.
