The respectful and supportive comments are out numbering the hateful and disrespectful comments on my #Inclusivity in #hamradio post on @kb6nu blog.

Arguing for justice and equity takes time. It is a long game, not a reactive "I'm threatened and yelling" process. I'm very happy to see people continue to speak up and support efforts to be inclsuive and welcoming in ham radio. The very vocal and threatened/hateful minority will always be out there, but together was can move forward and do good things.

Thanks, everyone.

Speaking of his experience growing up gay and working-class in Wales, Welsh Labour leader Jeremy Miles says that he felt "on the outside" growing up, and this experience has caused him to say:

"The heart of my politics is that people should feel they belong.”
