In early June last year, my beloved black cat Merlin, whose name was picked by my late wife and whom I'd had longer than any of my cats, passed away unexpectedly.

As I've done every time since becoming a cat daddy, I went out & got a new cat to take my mind off my grief later that month.

Only, wait! #MemphisAnimalServices (MAS) was doing a 2-fer on the one I chose. So, I came home with 2 orange and white cats.
