At least 77 men with pink triangles were imprisoned in Auschwitz & another 25 could have been initially arrested for their real or alleged homosexuality, but had a different prisoner category. Some scholars speak of up to 140 prisoners persecuted for their sexual orientation.

23 February 1928 | A French Jewish girl, Marguerite Gruska, was born in Metz.

She arrived at #Auschwitz in a transport of 1,300 Jews deported from Drancy on 31 July 1944. She did not survive.
