Here's an uncommon device. The EXELTEL II terminal. Equipped with a built in 1200 baud modem, it had a very limited test run in Minneapolis and Omaha around 1990 before US West canceled the project. This one is filthy, having spent over 30 years in a basement. But it works and should clean up nicely.
What are some other good sources for news, maybe rpg discussions?
One thought I had while browsing is how it would be nice if all those sites allowed you to login with your own made up identity that already exists. Like if I could log in as my mastadon randomwizard to go leave a comment.
Nearly 6 years after this story was originally published, nothing has changed. Teespring's store is still full of stolen designs (including my ATDT shirts).
I think I'm ready to move the drives to my real server. Hopefully I've got enough copied that I'll only be offline for a few hours. Level 29 BBS will be down too.
