Clarence Thomas doesn’t feel any shame for accepting more than $4M in “gratuities” since becoming a Supreme Court justice because he doesn’t think that’s a lot of money, and that he’s really entitled to a lot more. He thinks he deserves to be a billionaire.
The amount of public #corruption is already at unbelievable levels. We must figure out better ways to root it out and hold public officials accountable.

Reps. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) told MSNBC they want to impose on Supreme Court justices the same cap on gifts that members of Congress are subject to.
Said Raskin: “We want a $50 gift ban for justices. They make $300,000 a year. Pay for your own lunch and vacation.”
Maybe we in Germany should get used to the idea that we can no longer expect America to have a legal system. Since politicians seem to ignore this fact, that SCOTUS' corruption stinks to high heaven, what else can we expect?
