The light beyond.

An old bridge built from brick crosses the Greenway, carrying a farmer's track. Ivy covers the upper part of the bridge and dangles down towards the path. Beyond are trees on each side, fading into a bright light where much brighter sun is shining on the path. Black and white photo.

    "Birds aren't real"??? On and under a canal bridge in Leamington.

    A rather dark black and white photo taken into the afternoon sun, the left hand side mainly shadow from the hill, the right hand side in sun amongst the slanting shadows of the bare trees. The sun is almost hidden in the branches of a central tree. A pathway is visible crossing from bottom right, and a park ranger's vehicle is parked under the tree.

    A low key image taken from the hills of Holyrood Park looking towards the city buildings on the horizon. The lower foreground is dried grass. A great slab of rock with afternoon sun on its left hand side leads the eye towards the buildings on Calton Hill. It and the hills of Holyrood Park are among the several extinct volcanos on which Edinburgh sits.
