World's End Close! (The World's End pub, once right by the old city wall, is just to the left. Beyond that was, well, the end of the civilised world!)

    Three cars in the Alvis yard. The Coventry factory stopped production in 1967, but since 1968 the Red Triangle company has been maintaining and now re-manufacturing Alvis cars in Kenilworth!

    Portrait format black and white photo shows a shuttered window in a brick wall almost obscured by a large flower basket hanging from just above. There is a small gable end immediately above, with some interesting decorative detail, looks like tiles with small circles. Above that, a tiled roof. The hanging basket is casting a strong shadow down and to the left, in the afternoon sun.

    Inside the Castle.

    Black and white photo showing massive stone walls from inside the Castle. The walls seem almost to be stepped from lower to the right and higher to the left, where tall stone windows can be seen. A wooden structure of steps near the centre allows visitors to climb to the top of the middle wall.
