Torridon in Wester Ross. The image shows a view over stony beach in the foreground with the tide out but a little water visible on the left. Beyond it is a distant line of white buildings stretching across the frame with, above it, the huge bulk of a mountain reaching up towards the top of the frame. The summit ridge has lines of snow leading up to it in gullies. The scene is in sunlight.
