@TCatInReality@indigenous_commentator FWIW, I think the key is for white people to learn that the harms of systemic racism outweigh the benefits. The myth of welfare queens to keep benefits low. Crappy underfunded public schools. Poor labour protections, lack of sick leave, poor maternity benefits, poor healthcare benefits. Lack of unions.
Holding onto white privilege in such a system is like being happy you have stale bread instead of moldy bread. Better than it could be, but not good.
